When I was young, a teacher once told me I had real artistic talent and an “eye” for seeing things. It wasn’t until I was older that I understood she wasn’t telling me I was seeing things that weren’t there! Rather, she believed I had a unique way of perceiving the world around me.

I’ve often thought about that generous compliment and wondered how I might be able to capture the way I “see” things as I experience them so as to revisit the sentiments of my memories throughout the course of my life. It turns out I found my niche in shooting photography.

We all know life is fleeting, and capturing the essence of our memories is paramount. I am passionate about documenting not just people, places and events, but the feeling experienced during those moments. I believe it is a great gift to visit our experiences in pictures and relive the emotion of the days which define us.
